Screen Sensitivity Glitch

Somehow my screen developed a glitch overnite while I slept. This morning when I tried to use it the screen was super sensitive and registered every swipe as a tap. I couldn't scroll without opening whatever I touched. I wiped the cache partition and rebooted and it seems to be back to normal.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, mine does that sometimes also... I blame Nougat...

I've experienced this as well but so far only in Facebook. When I try to swipe thru comments it'll think I'm taping it. Doesn't always do it but I've also only experienced it in Facebook so far.

I've experienced the same in FB comments since the day I got my S8+. That's an app problem.

This AM I tried FB, Twitter and maybe Instagram. It was wonky in all of them.

I recently started using Aviate launcher instead of Nova Prime. That could be the problem.

I've not experienced this issue but it good to hear this was rectified by the age old tip of turning the phone Off and On.

Personally I turn my phone Off at night which in my mind gives the phone a downtime period (rest) which can only help.

That's technology for you.
