screen shot with wave of hand gone?

have a samsung s3 from sprint. Got a undate last night, noticed changes thats fine but also noticed cant swipe hand across screen to capture picture anymore. Ideas?

Go to Settings > Motion and make sure the option is enabled.

Also peopel seem to be doing it wrong
Make sure the whole side of ur palm is swiping the screen, not just part of ur palm...also do it slowly not too fast but not turtle slow

I just recently got my phone. I have the box checked, but it is not working. I have to use the power button/home button in order to take a screenshot. I've tried slow and fast and still nothing. So if I can get some help, I'd appreciate it!

You might have to reboot your phone for it to take effect. Also, Hold your hand like you are doing a "Karate chop" and swype to the side.

When you swipe your palm across the screen make sure it covers the upper portion of the screen where the sensors are. That more often than not works for me.
