Screen Time Out

Have any of you experienced the screen time out changing on it's own? For example, out of nowhere, it changes the time out from 30 seconds to 15 minutes. Usually happens a couple times a month. Thanks!

Hmm, I could see it going the other way if the battery was getting low, but that's an awfully large increase. No clue actually. Were you watching videos?

Nope. Usually I just get done texting or something and notice a couple of minutes later that the screen is still on.

I've not experienced the issue you've described. Maybe try doing a factory reset if you haven't already done so? That's definitely not normal behaviour though.

Does seem a little weird. It should be, if you set the sleep time to 5 minutes, then no matter if it's charging or on battery, both should be handled the same way

I did a quick test on my phone and it turned off after 15 seconds like it should (I changed the time to test) not waiting 30 minutes LOL

Maybe just get into the habit of turning the screen off when you plug it in? I normally do that anyway.

It's weird but it happens to me.. I out my phone down and the screen is still on after a minute so I check my settings and it still says 15 seconds

Mine actually changes the setting to 15 minutes. I have to set it back to 30 seconds.

Well.. My settings never change, but the way the phone acts does..

I've had this problem, only reverse. I set it to 1 minute, and it will default back to 15 seconds. It may have been affected/ triggered by Android Auto, as it seemed to do it right after I'd use it. Hasn't done it in a while, but for about a month, I was resetting it almost daily.
