Screen times out in desk dock with Froyo

Droid 1. Since I've upgraded to Froyo, my screen times out while in the Desk Dock. With 2.1. the screen would not timeout. Am I missing a setting to eliminate timeout while docked?

You can't with the stock multimedia dock on the droid with Froyo. You can try Alarm Clock Plus v2 from the market. It's free and offers a lot of features over the stock one.

Thanks, I installed Alarm Clock Plus, which is a cool app. But I cannot find a setting to prevent the timeout. Can you point me in the right direction?

If you open the alarm clock plus app, hit the menu button and choose Settings. If you scroll down you should see Screensaver Timeout. The Never option should be at the bottom of the list.
