Screen turn on automatically

The same time as I turn it on by pressing the power button. It's the exact same behavior like I press the power button, but it does it on itself

Are you using a case? Some can be tight over the power button or cause it to stick... This probably rarely occurs but years ago I had this happen with my HTC M7 using a Body Glove case - I took off the case off and it stopped.

I started to use a case yesterday night, so this is not the problem

Try putting your phone into safe mode and see if the problem persists. If not then it can definitely be an app updating in the background and waking your screen.

The problem isn't happen that often, so I should keep the phone into safe mode for too long. What do you suggest?

is there away with android phones to bring up an eventvwr or process usage like there is in say windows PC's? Maybe able to see from an event log whats doing it.

Another longshot here, but is anything magnetic near the phone? If so, it might be triggering the phone's S Cover sensor.

I didn't, i still have the problem unfortunately

It may be related to the micro SD card. Take out your SD card and see if you still have the issue.
Mine kept giving me notifications "preparing SD card". Then today, the phone couldn't read the SD card. I'm ordering a new one, should be here Thursday.

No, this is not my case.

Good call. Actually, I noticed that after every reboot, when I run the camera app, it warns me that the photo will be saved into the memory card, like if I putted the SD card for the first time

Yea that aint right, it should only do that once. Either format or replace that SD card.

I had SD corruption too when i moved it into the s9+, not sure whether it's the SD card, or something wrong/bug in Oreo.

My gallery for example would lag loading pics. And i had some android error notifications saying it couldn't read/write to the SD card, but i didn't get the message with the camera that you had.

Anyway a format fixed it for me, good luck.

Sometimes my S9 display switching itself on randomly, without i'm doing absolutely anything, and there are no notifications. I don't understand why. Any idea?

Do you have the app Ifttt installed? if so, check if you didn't set the phone to do that automatically
