ScreenShot Question... Please help

Does anyone else notice but when you take a screen shot, it shows very clear but when you upload it to Facebook or Instagram, it comes up blurry. Does anyone know why?? Please help...

Yeah I've noticed it to. Probably has to do with the size/ratio/pixels. I have no idea what all that crap means though. Lol

I don't use FB but have been around long enough to know that if the picture is not as clear as the original then the website you uploaded to has changed the picture to reduce the file size. One of the effects is usually a loss of detail. You could try hosting the picture off site at someplace like photobucket or any number of picture/file hosts and link to it.

I havent noticed. Try changing your screen shot settings maybe? I use Andro SS even though my phone can do it. Saves the pictures in png format at great resolutions. Try that app. Free, and no ads - need root though

Basically if you want the screen shot to come out clear you need to resize the picture to the right format. When you email yourself a picture as an attachment you will notice that it is almost 4GB. That is WAY to big for facebook to upload so like Equinsu ocha said they reduce the file size for you and more often than not its the quality of the picture that gets scrapped because all the bytes are in the quality of the picture. Try using a picture editer. you can downsize the file without causing the blur. or you can try using adobe to reduce the file size.
