I just got the S6 Active. Great phone, but I might be returning it due to my frustration with scrolling. I came from a Nexus 5. I still have it, and the scrolling on the Nexus 5 is buttery smooth. It was just as good as the iPhone. Considering it is a 2 year old processor now, it is amazing how much better it scrolls than the S6 Active. I have done side by side scrolling on both. On the Nexus 5, scrolling is consistent in speed and has the "correct" feel of friction & momentum. Its hard to explain, but it just feels natural. Apparently this was a big thing Google addressed in the past couple releases of Android. Samsung has somehow managed to totally screw that up along the way. I don't want to have to disable ads or Javascript to get it to scroll right, it should just work. On the S6, if I flick my finger up with roughly the same force sometimes it scrolls 3 lines, sometimes it goes 3 pages. It isn't consistent and it is really annoying. It could absolutely be fixed via a software update if Samsung was willing to address the issue, but I don't know if I want to wait.
