I was wondering if anyone can help me out with a couple problems I've been having with my cellular telephone. Been having some issues lately that I can't seem to fix... Anyway...
Recently my phone was jacked at a Wal-Mart so I had Asurion send me another one. I activated it and everything went fine. It updated OTA to 2.3.5.
I rooted the phone using Odin with a new update.zip (last phone I just used the Android SDK from my computer) and I frequently when I would press the unlock button the screen would remain blank and unresponsive but the capacitive buttons would light...
To get the screen back I could either pull the battery or press the unlock button until it came on.
...I thought it was a software problem. I flashed the eh05 i think (stock 2.3.5) back onto the phone and still had the same issue. i tried a factory reset and some other things (banging the phone on my desk) to no avail.
So then I flashed cm7 nightly 112 over the phone using heimdall for cwm and just installed the cm7 from recovery. at this point the screen unlock problem was reduced (still happens) but now my SD card goes crazy. It will occasionally unmount itself, say it's damaged, or just act stupid.
Does anyone have any advice?
