OK guys, I have searched all day for something that is close to the problem I am having but can't find anything. Over the weekend I started experiencing terrible battery life on my GN.

As you can see from the screen shot, the SC card is running more than anything else and I can't figure out what could be causing the problem. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know what you think.

Thanks!View attachment 22704

What ICS version or ROM are you using? Never seen sdcard in the battery usage screen before. Then again, there is no "SD Card" in the Galaxy Nexus, and I'm running stock (4.0.2)

I'm running a stock 4.0.2 ICS, not unlocked, not rooted. I haven't ever seen the SD card show up in my battery usage either. I can't figure out what is going on, but it is using more of my battery than anything else, and it is killing my battery as you can see!

I have re-booted, and pulled the battery, i was trying to avoid the factory reset. Is there a way to back up all my stuff instead of reloading all my apps & stuff?

Check your downloads. Is there a file downloading over and over? I have noticed when I download a ROM, a lot of times it will download more than once.

Have you loaded any new apps lately, or has one updated reciently?

I would go through ALL of your apps and clear the cache, and remove any unused applications. Don't clear data as you may loose information you need.

Good luck.
