SD card error help

Hey every one.

I was hoping i could get some help. I wast sitting in the movies playing with my evo and suddenly, i got a "blank sd card" error on my phone. Now it wants me to reformat it. I cant mount the card at all. I will try coping the data off of it tomorrow with my card reader. But i remember reading how there were a few lines of code that got this issue resolved.

Any help would me much appreciated. I couldn't find it in the forums, might have been a sub post. But if not, point me in the right direction please!

ah yes. this is the one. Unfortunately my memory card took a complete dump. Unrecoverable, even the pc wont detect it. Time to manually reformat.

Just curious, how do you manually reformat?

hahaha,i guess i see where the confusion is. I attempted to reformat using the phone. No good. Next using my pc. No good. Next 3rd party recovery tool. Also fail.

Result. Get a new card.

sorry, same thing happened to me. it's dead. i e-mailed HTC, but no response yet. this looks to be a common issue developing.

nicer eh? gonna try to get it swapped at BB where i bought it. just 1 day shy of 30 i think.

If not then i'll complain to sprint about it...

e-mail HTC now -- that way we can start recording things to create a problem ticket for them to track and fix.

i dont care about htc, i need a damn memory card. BB skrewed me over, they want to take in my phone = not ok for reasons outside of me being rooted. i cant not have a phone for a week while they fix the memory card....

sprint wont do anything cause i bought it at best buy...

fing ridiculous...
