SD Card not working all of a sudden overnight?

So I left my phone to charge like every other night and when I woke up in the morning, the apps moved to the SD card weren't displayed. So I checked it out and BAM, it doesn't work.
It's a 16 GB sandisk, i don't exactly know what class it is. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy s4. I searched forums of this and found this problem happening to a lot of people. Can someone tell me how I can fix this problem? It's only about a month or two old! My dad is going to be so pissed off if he finds out this happened and he would think I broke it.

Welcome to Android Central! Does the phone even recognize the SD card? Go to Settings>Storage--is the SD card listed there? If it isn't, then the card might have failed. If you see an Unmount option, select it, then remove the card. Insert it into your computer's SD reader--does the computer read it? If not, the card is dead.
