SD card reader for Note 7

Is anyone using an SD card reader with there Note 7. I have trail cameras that I like to take the SD card out of the camera and upload the photos while in the woods but can not get my SD card reader to work. I was told that SD card readers do not work because of the USB-C port. Apparently most USB-C ports don't allow SD card readers to transfer files.

Just use usb-c to micro usb adapter. And then micro usb sd card adapters. It will allow it.

I literally just tried that and it didn't. Nothing pops up like it did on the note 5. I just a Google search and this is the first post I noticed.

I use it all the time. I plug my SD card to a USB reader then the reader to the adapter that came with the phone.

Plug it up and open the stock my files app and see if you see it there.

Forgot I already asked this question....Any updates? Is anyone using a sd card reader with a usb c end ? I would like to not use an adapter.

I see lots of them at Amazon.com. I never used one though.
