SD card slot speed rate?

Anybody know? Just wondering if the g7 is capable of exploiting faster SD cards.

Since the phone can take a 2 TB card, you're probably looking at an SDXC card, more specifically, a UHS 1 class card which is about 10 MB/sec.

I would guess no.

If the phone is capable of 4k video, it would have to support U3 speed, because you have to use U3 cards to record 4k video. But if it doesn't, there's no reason for being able to handle the card faster when the rest of the phone can't handle data any faster than U1 speeds.
