When I got my new tablet (asus ZenPad 3s 10) with marshmallow pre-installed, I installed an sd card for additional storage and noticed there no longer was an "move to external storage" from the apps settings. On some research I was led to believe that marshmallow no longer treated the sd as an external device, but instead simply adds it to the storage pool, and will site to it as needed as the base storage is exhausted.
