Welcome to Android Central! Not all devices all this in an unrooted state. If it's possible on your phone, then go to Settings>Apps, select the app you want to move, and tap Move to SD, if the button is there. If you never see that button, then the device doesn't allow it. If only certain apps show that button, then the device allows it, but you still can't move every app to the SD card--it depends on how they're coded.
Be aware also that you can't move the entire app to the SD--it's only a portion of the app (and often a small one at that).
If your device doesn't allow it in an unrooted state, then you'd have to root the phone and use an app like App2SD or Link2SD.
