sealed boxed samsung s6 edge plus when turned on asks for a 4 digit pin.

bought phone off someone as a unwanted present,it was sealed when i have went to put my ee sim in its asked for a pin

You need to supply more information. Is it only asking for the pin when you put in your sim card? Is it asking for this pin regardless of a sim or not? What exactly does the pin message say? It can mean a lot of things. Perhaps it isn't carrier unlocked and requires a sim unlock code? Perhaps your sim PUK is locked? Pictures come in more handy.


Since you said it is a 4 digit pin I will assume it is a lock screen pin. If it is you can try contacting the seller to ask if they know it. You said its sealed but it's probably just been resealed.
