Every single time I go into "Navigation," I get going, then my phone drops the GPS signal, and the bottom of the screen reads, "Searching for GPS." This can't happen! I have spent a lot of time pulled over on the side of the road trying to wait it out, but it doesn't fix itself.

This has been happening for weeks now.

Please help somebody! Any suggestions???? THanks in advance.

What do your location services say under Settings > Location? What boxes are checked?

Under settings, I have both boxes checked:

1. Use Wireless networks
2. Use GPS Satellites

I also tried unchecking the "use wireless networks," but that didn't help.

Where are you accessing that setting?

I meant in the phone's global settings (Home screen, menu, settings, location).

For Google navigation, I think you have to have "Google location services" checked on. Could be your problem if it is not checked.

I'm rooted, running Mynn's Warm 2.2. Those are my settings under menu>Settings>Location.

FWIW, if I go to Menu> Location > I see 4 check boxes. All 4 should be checked: e911, VZW location services, Standalone location services, and Google location services

Mine is different because I'm running a custom rom. My features are the same, but the settings are condensed in this particular rom to that of the evo.
