Second screen & smart watch?

Wondering who out there has the V10 and also a Smart watch? If you've got both, does having the watch make having the second screen somewhat overkill as a way to get notifications? For example, I've got a Pebble Steel, so any important notifications come to my watch. Just wondering if I need to jump on this giant phone bandwagon or should I hold off until someone makes a smaller flagship android that gets sold in the USA (I'm talking to you, Experia Z5c). 2013 moto x is long in the tooth but still works. I know you can do other stuff with the second screen, but am I eliminating one possible use?

I've got a Huawei watch and don't feel like it's redundant. Yes, if I'm holding the phone or if it's in sight I'll see both notifications but there are times when one or the other is not visible (usually the phone) where having the other source of notifications is handy.

got the lg watch while Im at work I like to keep my phone in my pocket .see all my emails and news on my watch.I keep an ear bud in my ear to take calls'the second screen I have quick dial. calculater.wheather.doze.the second screen is nice..I dont like that it stays on when the main screen is off..if I did not have the watch .I guess I would have It on.I do like this phone.
