Security Policy Updates - anyone enabled it on the S6?

Settings -- Personal -- Device Security - Other Security Settings... Has anyone enable it/agreed to its updating? I think I'm clear re: what it's for, but curious how it might affect the phone/OS after a while. I wouldn't have thought it would be optional.

In my tiny thinking I consider it like antivirus software definitions for a PC. You're probably ok with not updating them, but better off if you do to combat new vulnerabilities. I figure if it doesn't negatively affect performance then why not enable it.

Mine has been enabled since I had it activated. though not sure what security policies are being updated.
