Sell Note 2 now with 4.3 or worth more if 4.4 in a month(ish)

I need to sell my note2 on ebay since im upgrading. Would I get more money if the note 2 had already updated to kit kat or should I just sell it now with 4.3? I mean once the new buyer calls at&t to get service won't they get kitkat OTA right away?:-\

old phones almost never go up in price its the oppisite as phones get older they go down in price for two major reason. newer phones come out for the same price the old phone was getting, and more pp move to newer phones so there are more older phones like the note 2 on the market. so your best bet would be to sell now if that is what your planning on doing waiting will not help.

I don't remember ever seen an electronic device go up in value with a newer version of the OS when the update is free. Usually people want "older" version of the OS because jailbreak or root or other things are already well developed. I once sold my Sony PSP 2 years after I got it for about the same price is the new one because it was jailbroken and could run any game on memory stick.

Sell it now. If you wait, the price will go down. They are already dropping as you can get them for $239 on Ebay.
