Hi

Have had the RAZR since Christmas everything was good. Went through the first OTA update just fine, no problems. But now after this latest OTA Update my Comcast.net email that I try to send or a reply that I try to reply to gets sent to the Outbox andd when i look in the outbound if I try to resend it, it says "Send action canceled"

This is extremely frustrating. I have not changed anything. Gmail works fine but it's not my primary main email. I don't care to use Gmail. I want my Comcast email to work like it did before. And I don't want to have to download a email client and frankly I shouldn't have to.

I just noticed this today as my outbound is full and no matter what I do I can't get this thing to send my emails out of my outbound. This is for my Comcast.net email only.

Oh and i do get all my emails into the inbox from people who send me emails. It's just when I try to reply or send.

Please help!
Thank you

Haven't sent or been allowed to reply to any emails using comcast.net since Feb 9th. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm about to throw this RAZR into the wall.
I am not rooted.

I would delete the Comcast account off your phone.. reboot phone... then readd the Comcast account...

If you still have issues, call Comcast to make sure you have all the correct port and server information and to make sure they are still allowing Verizon Motorola Mobile services into their email servers....

Also, make sure data and background data is enabled in settings--data manager... the 173 OTA update disabled these.... check this before deleting the Comcast account.

And if worst comes to worst download a different email client. I hate when people say they shouldn't have to dl a different app to make something work lol. Thats what android is all about, different people making it work better through their own apps. Lastly landline company emails have the most issues of them all so slowly transition to one that always work. Verizon.net, optonline.net, Comcast.net, all garbage. Also if you ever leave Comcast usually after 6 months of leaving they delete your email account.

My Comcast POP3 / SMTP works fine. I can't send on the IMAP /SMTP account. Anyone have experience setting up the IMAP on us.army.mil?
