Send back your moto x for different colors?

I was just wondering if I can send my phone back to moto to get different colors. I really want the wood back but I hate waiting for the phone.

If I could switch I could just get the phone now and switch backs when the wood is released.

Nope. But you could sell your Moto X than rebuy it at full price. But Moto could suprise us with the option, but when they first announced it said they had no plans so.

I think wood would be cool and all but what is the fascination with it? It just seems there are a lot of people waiting on wood.

I think the wood is pretty; it looks really nice and unique. If it had been available from the start with Verizon, there's no question that I would have opted for it.

Im not fascinated necessarily but i do think its different and looks a bit higher end. I know its coming out just wish i knew when

I was actually promised by a VZW rep that they would allow you to send it back in for customization. Too bad I didn't get it in writing, cause it's looking like he totally screwed me.

I mean why would they promise that and not deliver. I would think one could escalate that and get it done. If said story is true.

Because they work off of commission and he made a sale. Nothing in writing and if not true the customer will just be told "sorry, don't know why they said this."

Not true. If they can name the store, time of day and quote what the employee said......they could escalate it and do something. One reason I have had Verizon so long is they bend over backwards to keep their customers. Truth always wins in the end.

You could use a furniture grade polyurethane.
The beautiful wood is better with hand oils and age. Character man, it gives it class and character.

I gave in and got the white version on sprint. Wanted yeti wait for moto maker and ideally wood options but needed a new phone bad! I'm very much hoping they will give us the option to change our phones in time. I'd be happy to pay for the option of they did!
