sending txt to number not saved to "people" and other questions

Is there an easy way to send a txt to a number you don't want to save in your "People" (contacts)? And (tongue in cheek) does saving a phone number for a corporation in "People" make corporations people too? LOL Can I change the name of "People" to read "Contacts"?

Do others have problems with the Music player staying on after "closing" it? Is there possibly an actual task manager that will for sure shut down apps instead of swiping them off?

Anyone "tether" their phone to their computer for internet, and if so how is the speed. Considering getting rid of cable internet.

Cant answer the first 2 but using the phone as a wifi hotspot is good. Speed will depend on your signal tho

For texts, go to the messaging app and hit the plus sign. Then just put in the number you want to text in the "to" field.
