Sensation 4G no longer discovers bluetooth devices...

I have a Sensation 4G phone that I have rooted and find that the bluetooth can be turned on and off, but it will not detect any devices to pair with. Is there anything I can use, install, do to re-establish Bluetooth connectivity?
