Sept 16 2010 : Where can I get a new White EVO today?

I've been waiting and waiting...and it's looking less like a more-better-suped up spec'd Android phone will make it to Sprint by the end of the year; So, I'd like a new EVO today. (Looked *hard* at the Epic 4G, but I just don't trust Samsung)

A White one if at all reasonably possible.

How/Where can I actually pull this off?

(no thanx to ebay, craigslist, misc 3rd party sellers)

Best Buy if you qualify for an upgrade. Right now that's the only official place, so there will probably be a lot less of them for sale on ebay and the like because of that.

white isn't that impressive though. it looks "ricey" like someone pulled off all the parts they could and painted them white.

I agree that the white one is not that impressive. I compared the dummy units at bestbuy and the black looks nicer and not as shiny/glossy as the white one.

White case from best buy

I bought one today..yeah 30 bucks. Feel kind of silly. It's an expensive little piece of plastic but so is my evo. Anyway, I like the case. The color is a little pearlecent(sp?). I prefer a hard case to a rubber case because they don't get stuck in your pocket. I like the case. Probably should have waited and purchased something from ebay. My camera lens got a scratch on it. So, I bought one.
