True, but I think that was due to the network issues that Verizon was having at the time.

Definitely not $587.00 as was rumored somewhere yesterday. Unless of course Verizon planned on changing the $XX9.99 pricing scheme that they have followed for their entire existence just for this phone.

Why am I thinking someone said If you don't use your last NE2 credit by September that you would loose it? Through September or by August 31st? Or am I misinformed?

How are people surprised about this price tag??? I just don't get it, I can't see why anyone would suspect anything besides $299. It would have been a miracle if this came in at $250...

I see some people are a little detered by the 299 price, how can any of you can expect it to be any better. You actually think a phone like this is going to release with a price tag less than the Droid Charge. Come back to reality
