The software updated yesterday (1 Jan 2017). It was a small update but has created HUGE problems. I'd been getting great battery use, usually ~50% remaining at the end of the day. I don't keep GPS on, do lots of FB-ing, talk on the phone, use wi-fi etc. I don't listen to music.
After the software update, the battery started draining as I watched it, even without doing anything! I have finally put on Power Saving which I never needed to use before. ALSO suddenly my network connection (I live in Thailand) has gone totally haywire. I've never had trouble with 4G before and I was in a room with other people who use the same provider and had no problems either. Yet I had one bar and sometimes no bars. This too started yesterday after the software download.
I LOVE my Note 4 and even got a new motherboard and camera when the back got wet on the kitchen sink 5 months recently rather than buy an S7. Everything was PERFECT until this bloody software update!!!
