setting up new Tab S8 series

So I'm setting up my new S8+ and still have my S7+ here. I have had first a Tab S2, then a Tab S6, then the S7+, now the S8+.

I have lots of old apps games, emulators I don'r really use anymore so I'm thinking I want to trim things down and looking for suggestions on the best apps for 2022.

in particular
Video player (I do have MXplayer pro)
Photo editor
music player for high rez files
reader for books and magazines
maybe a few of the latest games. I like Japanese RPGs like Final Fantasy, and Dragon Warrior though not sure if they make them anymore.

And any other suggestions to liven up my new tablet. I have a 1tb micro sd and lots of video. Thanks Dave

I have used MX player for years. I think it has the best interface and control functions. I have to use VLC sometimes because some video (audio) formats are not supported. But I always go back to MX for its simplicity.

I use the same for video and audio I use Poweramp.
