setting up Outlook for Android

I have a personal domain...my first name at my last name.org. I use Outlook 2016 on my PC and have my mail set up as IMAP. I want to sync my mail and calendar on my PC with my phone.

I've downloaded Outlook for Android. When I go through the setup I put in my email address. I'm then asked for my email password. A white screen pops up saying "Authenticating with Outlook". It then states "server information updated" at which point I'm prompted to put in my password again. Now it asks "Let this app access your info? I say yes and I'm sent right back the password field. I'm stuck in a circle somehow.

Any ideas on what to do?

What software is your email server running?

You are stuck in the outlook app login loop. Sad to say I had to uninstall the app from my s8+ and go with stock email and stock calendar app.
