Has anyone in the UK bought the Note 5

If so, does it work with LTE/4G connectivity ok; I've read somewhere (AVForums I think) that they don't work with UK 4G etc?!

I'm toying with the idea of selling my iPhone 6 Plus 128GB to move back to a Note; the lack of an SD card/removable battery isn't an issue for me!

I have the same question. From what ive read i cant see why it wouldnt work as long as you buy an unlocked version. At worst you will get h+ mobile data speed but according to gsmarena it supports all the bands and frequencys to work on 4g network in the uk

Forget that. Some are not compatable some are. Im on vodafone and the N920C will work on 4g but it depends what network you are with

Thanks for the reply

Someone else has asked similar on AVForums in the UK; see below:

Does anyone on here have a Note 5 that they're using in the UK?

I'm tempted with one but have seen a few spots in line saying that they won't work on UK 4G networks; is this correct?

I was thinking of buying an unlocked one, brand new, to use on my O2 business contract.

Thanks

Answer: As I understand it O2 only uses band 20 or 800MHz for LTE if they have rolled it out and that band is sort of Europe only. Certainly the International Version of the Note 5 seems to cover it though. Depends where you purchase and make sure it is the International version I guess. This is from the T Mobile website for the Note 5:

International
Quad Band GSM; LTE: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 20;
UMTS: Band I (2100), Band II (1900), Band IV (1700/2100), Band V (850)

What do you make of that?!

If this is the case, which version of the Note 5 is it that needs to be bought?
