SG3 uses PenTile for longer lasting screens

It's pretty simple - SAMOLED+ tech is not ready for mass production. If you must have that screen, wait ~6 months and you'll get it in the next Samsung phone for sure. Most definitely in the Nexus.

I've never seen a company be so hated and criticized for something so minor which is completely beyond their control.

If one of the other OEMs has this issue like say HTC people would act the same way. Sometimes people set high expectations for a new product when the manufactuer makes a big hype out of it. This is what has happened with the Galaxy S III because for the few weeks prior to its launch Samsung hyped it up big time.

/\/\/\ True, but people rely and believe to much what they read and hear. Look how pissed people were when they announced the specs of the IPhone4S. They were so hyped on the possibilities of the IPhone 5 that anything less was going to get ripped on. But Apple still made Billions.
Based on what i have seen(not seen the new gs3 or 1x) Sammy makes the best screens and the total package as a whole, Sammy makes the Best phones. IMO. At the end it comes down to user experience. If you had a GS phone and loved it you will love this too. Depending on what Sprint gets i will get this or the Note2.

Well I dont know about a Galaxy Note 2 but Sprint is going to get a GS3 since a leaked document showed a mysterious Samsung SPH-L710 for Sprint that has specs that matches up with the Galaxy S III. Until the phone is officialy released and people begin to use it in the real world, we are basing our opinions on the handfull of reviews circulating around the Internet.

Longer lasting screen? How long do they anticipate people using the same phone? Would the screen go out within 2 years if they used some newer technology? It just doesn't make sense. I would wager that most people actually upgrade when their contract is up, I'd hope for 2 years of screen life out of any current technology.
