SGS3 crossed i in the left corner and a question

Hello,

Can someone tell me what does crossed i sign in the upper left corner mean (that happend after the offical update I've made through Sam Kies)?

And one more question, why there is no sound while reciving any kind of notification,though there is the LED sign! (sound is turne ON and voulemd up) see the attachment below !

I think I get that when an app fails. Then again I have only seen it a handful of times. So I am still not 100% sure. Have you reset your phone? Does it not go away at all?

The crossed I is because notifications is turned off in the pull down menu, probably caught it by accident. Just press again to receive notifications

On at least one carrier version of the S3, notifications are turned off when watching videos, to prevent interruption of the video. This symbol appears then, too.
