Live focus is a little fussy, but when it works, it produces very good bokehs. The camera seems to capture excellent detail compared to my S7E, Samsungs post processing has gotten a lot better recently.

In the full res picture, you can zoom in and read what's on my dog's collar very clearly. Impressive.

Anyone happen to have any front camera pictures? The note 7 was a bit washed out in low light and even with the beauty filter off, it still didn't show pores/fine wrinkles.

I'm the IT for an Automotive Group. This is what we affectionately call the Toy Barn. All the owners toys (and some exotics we sell) are located here along with my office. It's like walking into a museum every day.

Is that in So Cal?

This camera is amazing.
I'm thinking that uploading these pictures is reducing the image quality greatly.
However, I don't see close up pictures as a sign of the camera improvements. I think that aspect has been great for years.
I took this picture 2 years with my Note5.
Looks crystal clear back then as well.

I think you are right, on the phone you can zoom in to see tiny details. It could also be the age of the computer and what type of monitor they are being viewed on.

Sorry for all the dog pics, I work from home so this is what I have until hopefully this weekend when I can get out and get some pics around Las Vegas so see how the camera holds up. Still experimenting with Live focus and when it is best to use it. Camera tends to blow highlights and make them glow, like on my white Frenchie Stella, The first pic was taken in lower light around 7pm last night so not bad all things considered. The other two this morning under my patio overhang where even small sensor cameras I have used struggle a bit. For web sizes and viewing these are not bad.

I work from home too and all I have is a dog that doesn't like photographs, and all our vegetation is dead from an extreme summer. :D

No pets either so here's a picture of a old Dell mouse and HP desktop printer.
