Done deal - surgery at 9:00 AM this morning, finished successfully at 1:00 PM this afternoon, my Brother-in-Law actually called around 4:15 from her room in Intensive Care and put her on the phone and her first words to me were "Hey, what's up?" Now that's some DAMNED good drugs! She sounds really good and in great spirits so we're very happy for her. Now I guess you know better than we, what she's in for from here? It's got to be better than what she has been dealing with! Thank you for the crossed fingers!!! I have no doubt they helped for sure!

Glad everything went good for her and hope she keeps getting better. Prayers sent

How does the N8 do with action shots? My daughter plays soccer too and want to be sure the N8 does well at moving kids shots lol

I think the N8 will be about as good as other leading phones (Pixel 2, iphone 8+, Huawai Maate 10), no better, no worse. When conditions are good, I've gotten some excellent action shots. In good light you can easily freeze the motion of a player running, or a ball in flight. You'll get the best results if you are closer to the field. Someone mentioned the Sports Shots shot add-in. You can try that, but I think that is mostly a gimmick, and I would stick with Auto or Pro mode.

Nah I'm not going anywhere. I love to compare all the best camera phones. Same reason I bought the LG v30 as well. The Note 8 stays, you'd have to pry it out of my cold dead hands LOL
