I suggest setting. Your profile too 250 250 during screen off sleep just to save battery and let the CPU dissipate heat

i have my profiles set to run @ 800/250 when it's below 100% (so essentially when I am using it and it's not charging). Tried it at 1000/250, but it did hit that 36 degree mark, so i dropped it back. 800 is enough of a boost for me.

550/250 when screen is off

550/125 when it's charging (when mine is charging, i am usually not using it)

550/125 when the temp hits 35.5-36.5 degrees

I just downloaded it also, and its been running smooth so far.. Off the topic for a min, I just read over at droid-life.com that the reason the 2.1 update was taking so long was because flash 10.1 might be included. Now my next question, I just rooted my phone, and I love the speed of the phone over all, But now that flash might be included, which I really want, do I have to unroot my phone in order to get it , ignore it, or wait till a dev comes up with a way to root your phone with flash ?. Any help would be appreciated..

my guess; to upgrade right away we'll lose root. i'd give it a week or so until someone figures it out and we get our root back.

i have no idea though -- i wasn't rooted for the last upgrade.

You have two options go back to stock easiest way is with sm updater. Or stay rooted an lest the devs take that build and add the basics you need for root last time it as in a few days. Its all what's important to you. But word of caution if you go back to stock no
one knows how long it will take for you to get root back. Because they can change the method. On another note. I downloaded gde and I'm using it as a home replacement I've seen a speed increase

if this includes flash i will go back to stock. rooting may mess up flash, i would think, and it is so easy to go back and forth with roms.

Yes I like it especially the cube setting when switching between homescreens it looks better plus the fast swipe gets you between homescreens faster. Just wished the cube worked with 2.1 live wallpapers had to go back and give it a try

I doubt rooting will do anything to mess up flash

Well, I'm gonna stay rooted until they come up with a safe way to install flash. You never know, you might just simply port it over without the drama of wondering if you can still root your phone..

No I switched back to the alldroid Tom to check it out. I wish you could get then on the sholes rom who would need 2.1

You can try Pete's kosh's port the alldroid or most new 2.1 roms should have working live wallpapers
