Edit: what an amazing goal!!! So I just reflashed and didn't have an option for smoked glass. I was running the sholes 2.0.5 before and didn't do anything before updating.

I like the new ROM but sometimes(usuallyw hen Im typing an sms or email) my phone shuts down and then starts back up. Its quite annoying. Ive dropped the overclock form 1ghz to 800mhz hopin that may help....any thoughts?

could help, this is still pretty new. may be some minor bugs to iron out. the good thing is, they will iron them out for us. these guys are amazing.

as I download the new Droid Mod 1.0. I am curious to know, does the ROM supply a variet of Live Wallpapers? If not, where do I download others, and is there a special way to do it?

nope just go to wallpapers and hit live, there will be like 6 of em. thats all that i know of. be cool if there was more.

i tried installing some of the ones i found in the market but none of them downloaded. it said it would but just kicked me back out to the search results. I think I remember hearing you could get them back on there tho

dang,ok lil nervous here,have had 3 times where phone just shut off using live wallpapers, prolly just a bug,but im not using them again till an update comes out. just a fyi.

I downloaded one from the Market called Earth. It says it is for 2.1 aps, but seems to run OK. I have got a couple of FC, but hit wait and it loads up and works. You can show all the planets in the solar system and more. Kinda cool.

So i'm looking through metamorph themes but i don't see smoked glass anywhere. and some of these look great, but i really would just like the smoked glass back. can I install that with metamorph is is there a different method?

I lost the smoked glass when I updated from 2.0.6 to DroidMod 1.0

--- Also, I've had no issues with the live wallpapers.. no closes, reboots .. and battery seems to be the same.

Im updating now... I hope they add smoked glass into the next release...i love it but want to give live wallpapers a go.

I've had zero problems with live wallpapers so far. Been running it since last night. However, I was never really looking forward to live wp. I'd love to have the smoked glass theme that was on the other rom. I found a smoked glass 2.0 last night, but it was a little different, and had a lot of blue. Anyone have a link for the sholes version? In metamorph format?

Love this Rom (1.0) Beats BB in ease of use and customizeability.
No Fcs or reboots.

I'm surprised at how many like the smoked rom, not my cup of tea but it is nice.

sooo...you have smoked glass still but you're DM 1.0? or did you go back to 2.0.5? On another note, I think I remember hearing that the update was supposed to have better battery life with OC. I'm curious to see if that's been the case for anyone?

you don't have a choice with the new 1.0 you get live wallpaper and no smoked glass.. hope that changes...
