short battery life

I entered this (*#0228#) on my dial pad and there it showed battery percentage ..and there is something like quick start down there ..i pressed it and suddenly my battery percentage changed ,earlier it was 56 now it became 26 ..what to do i am worried ..i tried restarting my phone but it was still the same ..and it seems from that day my battery life has decreased

Just charge the device up and don't worry about it unless it continues to be worse. Under Settings > Display you should be able to enable a Battery Percentage meter for the notification bar. I had that feature on the Note II. The Quick Start may have caused a drain but my opinion is that it most likely confused the meter more than anything else.

No but I've seen others mention this before and that's normally the case.
