Shortage of data causing Samsung troubles in launching Bixby Voice for the U.S.

Seems it would have been cheaper to just buy the data from Google :) Hmm, wonder that they'll use that button spot for on the S9?

Most likely they will use it for Bixby. I mean how are you suppose to improve on it if you don't keep it there for owners to keep beta testing it. I imagine they will keep the button through the S10 or S11 before they give up. :-

I hear they are going all in on Bixby and rushing to push out a Bixby home speaker by end of year too.

I wouldnt be so disappointed had they built the app before building the button.

They essentially sold people on this "great technology"that was going to be extremely useful but clearly they werent even close when they marketed it. Then they add this button that essentially does nothing but open a page for very limited information and allow the beta users the ability to tell the phone to adjust a setting.

Bixby should have started as an app and once they had enough data needed to make it useful, then add a button to the phone.

Just another half baked idea from Samsung that nobody thought through.
