Shortcuts for apps to homescreen

Silly question. How do I auto add app shortcuts to the homescreen when downloading apps. I remember seeing the option awhile back but I didnt choose it. Cant find it in Google Play.

Currently using stock launcher likely to go back to Nova soon

The Google Play Store recently got rid of that option, I think because they moved that feature to the launcher. I'm guessing you found it in the Samsung Experience homescreen settings.

Probably a way with nova too. Havent looked.

Yes there is. Nova Settings>Desktop>Add Icon To Home Screen.
