Should I be worrying about this?

I sat on my Galaxy s4 a few weeks ago, it works fine, but there's minor discolouration around the middle and at the top, would it be worth my time to try and fix it?

Well, you could live with it as it is, or try to fix it and quite possibly end up with a phone that doesn't work. Your call.

Take it to a professional to have it repaired. This is one of those things the average person is not able to repair. While you can still use your phone be sure to backup everything to your computer or an sd card in case of a full failure!
