Should I buy the Nexus 7&10 now or wait??

Hi,

I want to buy a Nexus 7 and a Nexus 10 (the N10 for home use and the N7 for portable use) but I?m not sure if I should wait for updated versions or buy them now?

Dose anyone know if there is any new updated versions coming out soon? And if so what might be the new updates added to the N10 and N7?

I was hoping that if the Nexus 10 was receiving an update. it might have a new 3G or 4G model available.

Rumor was there is supposed to be a new Nexus 7 coming but no real details other than claimed to be more affordable..

Rumor is that there will be update Nexus tablets announced this week at Google I/O.

I just bought the N10 a few weeks ago and I'm very happy with it. More than likely I will see it updated to 4.3.

As far as the N7, we will probably see a version 2 if it this week. Which means the first N7 will come down in price and it is still one hell of a tablet.

Nexus 10 don't wait buy immediately. I just got it and it is amazing don't let anyone discourage you and I own an ipad4 BTW. Loving it no regrets. I was under fire from apple and galaxy note freaks in my office for buying it but they were all idiots afterall this is the best tablet ever made. Its really hard to convince the masses about nexus products people usually look down on you lol.

As for nexus 7 I'd say wait its already 1 year old and due for replacement soon. Nexus 10 is only 5 months old.

I just read about the Google I/O coming up this week 15th-17th May with new announcements being made. So I think I will just wait till next Monday before ordering the Nexus 7 tablet defiantly. And I think I will also wait till Monday before ordering the Nexus 10 tablet too. I'm hoping for some sort of a miracle announcement for a 3G/4G model. But that one I?m not so sure about happening so maybe I just order it on the Monday too if it only puts my mind at ease.

I?m sure I will be very happy with the buying of the two Nexus devices.

I agree with waht most others have said for a 7" wait until afte I/O to make your decision. For a 10 inch I would be amazed if a new one were announced at I/O and flat out shocked if it shipped before September.

Probably more like mid to late November (think Black Friday).

Well IF I were in charge, I would have them in the Play Store by the end of Sept tember so they can be in RETAIL stores for the holiday season. This allowa the early adopter tech crowd to get buy out the launch stock and replenishments to arrive BEFORE the holiday season.

This doesn't mean I expect google to follow my model, just that September is the earliest they should launch their next 10 inch tablet.

I think I might wait before buying the N7 but I will go ahead and buy the N10 now.
