Should I get the Razr or the Galaxy Nexus?

All very important to me, thanks!

Just wanted to confirm about the colors. I actually have my Droid X here right next to the Razr. Of course, the DX has an older LCD than the Rezound. Wow ... the colors on an LCD screen look so lame and washed out compared to AMOLED. Its like the LCD colors had been through the washer ... a couple hundred times too many. Granted, the Rezound LCD would be better than the Droid X, but AMOLED will get you a nicer, brighter, and more vivid display.

Support alone is reason enough to go with the nexus. Good luck getting any updates on the RAZR, especially with Motorola releasing a phone a month.

Just in case you weren't aware, Moto just released an update for the OG. That's 2 years later. Pretty good support IMO.

Thank you.

And if support alone is enough reason to get a G Nex....than being able to make and receive calls in bad reception areas is enough reason to get a RAZR. Just having a reliable phone to use as a phone is enough to get a RAZR.

They both have their pros n cons. Some of us are trying to act like they dont. For real....if its only about dev support and updates for the G Nex, why spend money on a data plan, cell service? Just get a G Nex off contract and use it as a PMP...save yourself some money.

so what did we all decide on? Razr or Nexus?
I decided to try the GNex. The reason being that the Razr isn't comfortable in my small hands - ladies small glove size. But if the GNex doesn't work well as a phone, back it goes.

I prefer the Razr's thinness and screen to the Rezound so I will go with the Razr if the GNex fails me. I will have to put a case on the Razr if I do since I found the edges sharp. Perhaps a case would make it feel more comfortable to me. It really is too wide for someone with small hands like me.

Why they didn't round off those sharp edges is beyond me. It probably doesn't bother those of you with large hands, but if you have small hands with delicate skin, it does.

I don't have either and I love android in general. I'm pretty much an android fanboy (I have a iPhone 4s for work so I'm not bias).

Yesterday I went out to dinner with my father who has a Razr and my step brother who has a GNex. After playing with both it would be extremely tough for me to decide. I was sold on the gnex sight unseen but I just don't like it being a Samsung. ICS was great but that's about where it stopped for me...nfc is cool and a removable battery is nice but arent deal breakers to me. Just like no SD card wasn't a deal breaker either.

The screens on both I thought were good. The Motorola felt higher quality. Motorola's skin didn't feel overly cumbersome to me either. The razr was reporting better signal strength but both were working fine so that just be the way it was reporting signal....neither had 4g at the time.

In the end...knowing the razr will get ICS I would probably go that route. If it wasn't going to get ICS I would get the gnex.

I have the razor for over a month now I think the best phoneIi has so far, as for the screenIi was even able to see it clearly outside not like other phones that you have to shield the sunlight to see. So I would get the razr.
