To replace or not to replace
After successfully replacing the digitizer for my note 3 with only a handful of meltdowns , My DH decided that now I am the one to repair his phone...
He managed to go through 10 phones in the last three years, dropping them in water, driving over them ... video taping himself hanging off a horse ( resulting in the phone being dropped and stepped on by a 1000 lbs beast) I would search online for something cheap and replaceable... only problem is... nothing is cheap anymore.. and used phones usually come with problems..
Short story long, His phone needs a screen replacement, charging port, speakers and battery. Around $90 worth of parts..
My question is, should I save $30 and just replace the broken glass? or do I go with the whole digitizer/front housing and save myself and anyone around me months of therapy.
He cracked the screen two days after buying the phone ( 14 months ago) and just as of last month cracked it even more.. Would that cause future problems with the digitizer?
