Screen size of the n7 is perfect for me. YouTube and actual movies look awesome. The device in general is fantastic. It "feels right" when you hold it, and while I've never used an HP touchpad, I somehow doubt it's as attractive a package as the N7. The thing that really sold me too was 4.1JB stock android, which other devices can't match even if they do well w hardware. JB is seriously substantially better than ICS, especially in the small things that you might not otherwise mention but just start to bug you over time. It's clear that the developers have really put some thought into making android convenient to use. The controls and interface have become a lot more intuitive. Plus the butteriness. Paula Dean would be proud. The point being, JB was a factor that led to my buying this as my very first tablet. I wasn't interested in buying an ICS tablet and maybe one day getting an update (I don't root) if i could just get a JB tablet immediately. I haven't been disappointed.
As for the 25gbs of movies.... yeah I dunno. Not that kind of device I guess. I don't see myself having a problem with storage but you might be dffernt. There's always Google drive and dropbox, but then you'd need to be connected to WiFi to access those. Another possibility is connecting a USB OTG, but then you've got "things" attached to this awesome self contained unit, which sort of detracts from its cool factor.
Other than that i don't know what to tell you. It has basically turned my phone into just a device that makes phone calls, since anything I did on that I just do on this now. I destroyed my laptop a few weeks ago (swimming pool incident, don't ask) but ive barely noticed.
