Should Ok Google be activating my Ford sync Bluetooth microphone?

Ok google activating ford sync bluetooth microphone

I am a recent convert from apple. After some challenges of the conversion there is one issue I am very unsatisfied with this S5. With my Apple 5s when I hit the home button it lite up my microphone in my car over riding anthing going on with the stereo and I could tell suri to sent text to so and so. With this new S5 I have to put the car audio into bluetooth mode then say ok google. How do I make thus phone act the same as my Apple.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Google Now, swipe in from the left, tap Settings>Voice>"Ok Google" Detection. Turn on From Any Screen, which should allow Google Now to respond to OK Google commands at any time, as long as you're charging (so keep the phone on a car charger while driving).

It's worth keeping in mind that you don't have an iPhone, so you can't necessarily assume that the S5 can do everything that you did with the iPhone--just as the iPhone couldn't do everything that the S5 can do.
