Can you explain how to do the astro mode, please?

Select the night sight mode and make sure that the phone is on a tripod or motionless i.e. resting on something and propped up. The camera will detect the lack of movement and then do the extra long exposure that is needed for photographing stars.

Great explanation! :)

A few from me giving my Jap import E39 530i touring its Christmas detail yesterday ;)

I thunk they've turned out pretty well TBH; if you press on them you'll get to see them in their full size

What great detail in those photos!

Taken on our walk out today; where we are in Lancashire (North West UK); we've just been put into tier 4, so full lockdown. But still allowed to exercises from home, so a nice walk out in the crisp weather and took advantage to take some pics with the Pixel 4XL too

The last one of the robin is x4 zoom; it came out very well IMO

The little guy is really well camouflaged among the leaves behind him! First time I looked at that last pic I didn't even see a bird. Shots like that are where I love my 4xl...they were always blurry on my 2xl.

Beautiful scenery!

Yeah it's hard to see ;)

If you click on the pic, you should be able to see the original and zoom in on it too; it has great detail for what was a simple zoom in and click picture!

I've got the flowing river one as my desktop on my 27" 5K iMac; the river there is very shallow as it's a crossing between the farmers fields, about 18" deep, water was freezing and even through my Grub neoprene wellies I could feel the cold; so didn't stand there too long

A few more from yesterday's walk.

Last of the cold, wintry weather here in Lancashire for the time being...

An out of the blue snowfall overnight here in Preston, Lancashire - UK

Makes a nice change ;)

Not really taken many pictures lately bar ones of my E39 touring after it's first full wash & detail of 2021
