Those are the parachute pods. All pro cars have them, but the pods on the far car are shorter and mounted lower. Here's a ride along from the team's channel of that same run, and you can see the cutes being deployed at the end.

Oh wow. I knew about parachutes on the cars since they go so fast they can't stop otherwise, but I didn't know how the parachutes are stored. The pods are cute and look like a decoration on the car, not just something functional.
