All of the above photos were taken with the S21 Ultra in Cabo san Lucas. We just got home yesterday. Sorry, the forum turns the portrait pics sideways...

Nice pics. It turned my moon pic sideways, too. I fixed that by loading the pic into MS Paint and saving the file before uploading on here.

I find this camera so good, yet at times, so far behind.

Not a bad photo but man zoom in and man what they hell with the fur?? This is probably my most frustrating gripe

But then you totally get good photos too

Such a beautiful doggie! I agree with you about the fur. When I take photos of my cat, the fur is often blurry and just out of focus.

I've been playing with my wife's S21 Ultra. It does the same thing our S10 did and the same things my S20 FE does. It's like Samsung's processing doesn't quite know what to do with fur. That said, the Ultra and those lenses let in soooo much light. Really amazing camera.

It's really sad, because the Samsung cameras are capable of such greatness and the shots they take if scenery, people, etc can be so beautiful. But you are absolutely right in that it's like they just don't know how to handle fur.

Or anything indoors that isn't 100% still for less than a second or two like kids or animals (aside from the fur concern even when they're still)

YES! It is disheartening. Moving subjects just don't photograph well with Samsung cameras (usually, for me, anyway).

I started following this thread in hopes that that had changed, but it seems like it hasn't. As much as I have enjoyed having a Samsung, my Note 10 will likely be my last...at least until that is changed. I'm done with the frustration of missing so many good shots of my kids.

Which other phone you have in mind?
