"Showing up as empty on PC when memory is full"

Hi there, as the title says, when I access my phone on PC via a USB it shows empty folders. This is due to it being a phone given to me by the work. It has lots of photos and videos on it, and is due to be handed back to the work in the coming days.

When I plug the phone into the PC via USB, on the phone (which is a Samsung Note 4) it says

"Security policy restricts use of computer connection"

How do I get round this issue?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. Unforunatley it's only a pop up at the bottom of the screen, without any option to allow PC access.

Welcome to Android Central! Sounds like a restriction placed on the phone by the mobile device management software. I don't think you can get around that, unless you talk to the company's IT department and see if they can temporarily remove that restriction (which I doubt they'll do).

Try using a wireless solution, like AirDroid. Or upload your photos to Google Photos in the cloud.

I fear that may be the case. I have already used up all my pCloud, Dropbox, and Google Drives on their free GB limit. The other storage clouds I know of unfortunatley don't do uploads automatically or enmasse. If you know of any that would be extremely helpful.

If you select the High Quality setting for Google Photos (instead of Original Quality), you get unlimited photo backups to Google Photos in the cloud. I've never been able to tell any appreciable difference between High and Original Quality. https://support.google.com/photos/answer/6193313?co=GENIE.Platform=Android&hl=en-GB. The backup is automatic, occurring in the background (and can take more than a day, depending on how many photos you have -- make sure you're connected to wi-fi, and that it's not set to use your mobile data to backup).
