I have been struggling with the same decision. Im leaning toward silver, bc I know I can put a case on it.

I probably won't know until I get to Best Buy today and plunk down $800.

I'll definitely go for silver, just to break the monotony of buying one black phone after the other. Again most phones from other brands are black, and i need to be a little bit unique.

Again, there's the exclusivity issue to be aware of too. The 'lowly' regular S7 is not available in silver. That's an Edge exclusive. For those of you who want everyone to know you have the upscale Edge at a glance, silver is the way to go. Hey, just sayin'

I went with black my local best buy had them on display today checked them and am glad I did the silver might as well be a mirror.

yes!! I totally agree about the silver! That's exactly what I said! The glare just from the ceiling lights alone at Best Buy created such a reflecting glare that it was unbearable for me. I can't imagine how it would be trying to use it out in the sunlight. So I decided on black. There was still a very slight glare with black but almost non existing.

Go to best buy and look it up in person. The black is so much better and the silver is a fingerprint magnet IMHO. I thought I was going to be all about the silver but it changed. You should order what your preference is not what others on the internet like lol.

I voted black, but that's a "probably" black until I see them in person. I think I'd really like the silver back, but the silver bezels just seem a bit much, especially outdoors (I drive a convertible). If I could get the silver back with black bezels that would be my first choice.

I'd buy a silver one but likely a the White one will only be available to me if I wanted it right away as I am sure a lot of other people will be buying the black, silver and gold devices first.

Was torn between the true black and silver. I have a silver note 5 but also have too many black(blue) phones. Went to best buys and now I like the gold. It appears to be a different gold than the s6 edge + .

Had to weigh in here ....... I pre-ordered the silver based on the promo pic. I just went to Best Buy to look at it .. It was SHI-NY. Possibly too much so for my taste and more so than it looked like in the picture. I'm a little conflicted now because I plan on this to be the phone that I hang on to for a long time. Leaning heavily on switching the black. I don't want to be committed to having a case just because I've caused interstate accidents by accidentally channeling the full power of the sun into someone's eyes.

That's be cool too but I wish they made it with matte black metal. It would have made the shinyness of the glass really pop.

I almost got the silver, then saw it was pretty much chrome....yuck! just pulled the trigger on black, can't wait to get it!

I understand people have different opinions but the silver is just wayyyy to reflective for my taste. I went with the black. I like how the screen meshes with the rest of the phone.

Saw the silver again in person at an AT&T...It is almost Chrome! Has to be really reflective in the sun.

Still haven't come across the silver one. Best Buy only had black and gold on display. The gold seemed kind of coppery to me, and I'm glad I didn't buy it. When you say gold, I want gold.

Guess I'll have to bite the bullet and wait or drag myself bodily into a Verizon store to see the silver.
